Dominican Republic - La Romana (Dominicus)

Two posts in a row?!! I know, I'm surprised too. But don't get too excited, this is clearly a rare occurrence. When summertime roles around, I get excited? Why? I don't know. It is not like I get summers off. I guess the weather is nice and it reminds me of a time when life was carefree. Our first #furyyumadventures trip of 2017 was to the Grand Canyon - which lives up to its name btw. It truly is GRAND. Will have to write a separate post on that sometime. My husband has been wanting to go on a trip that involves a whole lot of relaxing. Now that doesn't sound very adventurous and knowing me I wasn't sure how I felt about just hanging out on a resort for a week but decided to give it a try. We've heard great things about the Caribbean and decided to go with the Dominican Republic for our summer destination.  The D.R. is probably the most affordable place to visit in the Caribbean and there are many great resorts in the area. 1 year Anniversary #FuryYumAdventures Time flies by when you are having fun! I am super late on writing on this blog considering we will be hitting our 2 year anniversary here soon but better late than never, right? For our one year we decided to go on an adventure to SPAIN mid November of 2016.  If Spain isn't already on your bucket list- ADD IT RIGHT NOW.  It is a beautiful country with a lot of  rich history and culture.  As you plan your trip, don't forget about the siestas in the afternoon! Madrid - 2 days Granada - 2 days Cordoba - 1 day Seville - Day Trip Barcelona - 2 days If you haven't figured it out already - we are budget travelers so our trip consisted of staying at AirBnB. I have found that AirBnB is much better in Europe and a cheaper alternative than staying in hotels in most cities. Madrid We started our trip in Madrid. I met my husband there since I was in the UK for a work trip. Flew over with RyanAir which has ridiculously cheap fl
